​ Syrian Oil Minister Discusses with Abu-Ghazaleh Ways of Cooperation in Digital Transformation Areas

Damascus - The Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Eng. Bassam Tohme, has received at the Ministry's headquarters His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman and Founder of "Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global". The two discussed ways of cooperation in the area of digital transformation services for the Ministry.
The meeting also tackled the alternative energy, the mechanism for calculating the lost benefits that the Syrian economy is missing due to the aggression against Syria and the occupation of northern Syria, and the mechanism for calculating the accumulated losses due to missed opportunities, in order to preserve the rights of Syria.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said that digital transformation was the future and best tool to face what Syria was going through. He added that TAG.Global was ready to provide digital transformation services to the Ministry.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed the need to move towards necessary development instead of sustainable development, adding that the group was ready to cooperate with the Ministry in several areas, including digital transformation, electronic archiving, and auditing.
